My my my!

It has been some time, sorry to you faithful xanga readers, but the summer had me whisked away to a foreign tropical soil without electricity where I was forced to spend my days lounging on the peaceful serenity of a golden sanded beach and be fed grapes all day by a masculine Roman god....

Ok ok OK!!!  So maybe that wasn't exactly how my summer played out, but hey, its my entry, a girl can indulge a little, yes?  The actual "vacation" wasn't quite as romantically picturesque, but it wasn't exactly boring either.  I worked most of the time, and as we all know, I absolutely adore Payless!  Seeing Lena again, and random moments of Airika was a blast, and meeting way cool Monique was even better!  That and getting to hang out with my best friend, and ehem...other company, made for quite an interesting time away.  And I didn't forget about my family either!  In fact, my lola and lolo are now currently residing with my mom and tay.  They came all the way from the Phillippines, and although they drove me nuts sometimes, as all families do...LOL, it was so incredible to get to see them again.

But now all summer heat aside, I have once again returned to my cozy dorm room.  Roomates...kept one, gained four new.  They are awesome!   Crazy cool.  It's been a pretty hectic time though, trying to finish the last bits on my apps for nursing school, now a transfer at a local Payless here in Albuquerque, and dealing with some crazy interesting courses.  Things have changed...lots of things actually.  But I have to say, that I am greatful that through those changes, people have remained to show great maturity and strength of character.  We can move on and create life without bearing guilt upon one another, or putting one another down.  And you know who you are.

A new semester, A new slate, new and more room for endless possibilites

Reflections

Another year has flown by.  Can you believe it?  Next year I will be a junior in college...well rather a third semester sophtmore...hehe...but I am applying for nursing school next semester, so it's all good.  I just cannot believe how time is just slipping through my fingers.  It's been an awesome year though, twists and turns around every corner, unexpected happenings.  There have been down moments, bridges burned, but new ones built as well.  As I look around my room at my empty, now plain walls and my floor covered in various bags of all my junk, I'm reflecting back on all the memories.  And there were some great ones.  Trips to cold stone, the Green day concert, moments of just sitting and watching movies, the rave, the strange krispy kreme kaper...  Working at Victoria's Secret for like a month, LOL.  The nights of clubbing, spring crawl, and finally getting to see the person who owns my heart.  I think that this year has reminded me even more that time is soo precious, and that we should live every moment to its fullest.  We should learn to enjoy the moments and times we have with friends and family, and never forget how important those people are.  They help to shape who we are.  And every moment, every second we are given is a time for us to use, a time for us to shine, and we should use them in such a way, then when we look back on those times, we can smile and believe with all of our hearts that we used every one to its fullest potential.  No regrets, for we can always learn a lesson from every little thing we do.  There may have been rough times along the road, but those are the times that we pick ourselves back up, learn from that mistake, and carry on.  Life is too short to be wasted worrying about things that could have been.  All things in this universe, the great atomic force holding and binding us all together are united in such a grandiose way...and every little thing that happens, no matter how seemingly small and insignificant happens for a reason.  Every thing, every choice, every road we chose to walk down, has brought us to the moment we are at now.  So look around you xanga readers, enjoy what you have created with your choices, revel in the moments you are in now as you continue your journey.  Oh yah, and have a great summer too, LOL.  My internet situation at home is still iffy...so I might be MIA for a while.  But I will try and keep all of you updated with my adventures over the summer.  Which will be limited.  Oh and Alamo dwellers...thats pretty much you, LJ...I will be there all summer!  Working at payless for most of it, so stop by the mall and come visit!!!!

Time of your life

AWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the best past 6 days ever!  Even though it was super stressin with exams and other weird events, won't go into detail on that one....it was still the greatest time ever.  Because he was finally here!  Face to face...heart to heart...he was here!   YAY!!!!  Hehe, sorry xanga readers, but I am floating on cloud nine at the moment because my baby finally got to come visit!  You have no idea, he makes me feel like the most special girl alive.  He loves me, full heartedly, and I feel the same.  Just getting to be with him, just getting to be in the same state, let alone...city...room!  It went waaaay too fast though.  *kicks desk*  Oh well, I can't be too selfish now, right?  I got my moment, my dream that I've been wishing on every star for the past year and a half or more, finally came true.  I love you baby!!!  <3

In other squishy world news...Nursing is driving me insane!  So I still needed one more class before I could apply for graduate school, so at the moment I am one semester behind.  And then I learn that I need these other training things before I can get in...ugh, and they only offer them here at UNM during the summer.  Meaning I would have to be back up here at the end of July.  So I am going to see if I can get the experience and training done back home instead, and avoid heading back to Albuquerque.  Ooooh and if you haven't figured it out by now, I didn't get the RA position.  Dig letter...ugh.  "We have no positions available for you at the moment, but you will be entered into a pool in case any become available..."  ooh...woopty do.  Oh well, it was a long shot to begin with...less than 20 spots and more than 200 applicants.  *dusts off her shoulders*  Life will go on!  That just would have really solved a lot of problems.  Neways, I am dog tired at the moment, almost fell asleep during 2 of my classes, and I still have loads of reading left to do.  So austa for now, faithful xanga subscribers.

RAVE!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo....

I totally went to my first rave ever this past Friday!!!!  It was the best thing ever!  There's...its just soo hard to describe the feeling.  It's an experience you guys, quite an experience.  The dancing is the best.  Just fluid, let yourself go, freely doing whatever your mind can pull out.  The beats just running through your body and the music taking control.  One of the djs was crazy cool, he was just making stuff up as he went along.  And they did a remix of one of my fav songs, Gorillaz-Feel Good Inc.  I'm soo hooked!  I can't wait til the next one.

The countdown begins....

Oooo I might get to go to a rave this weekend!!!!  I've never been, and it's soooo exciting!  I really hope it happens.  Neways, my lab practical last week turned out to be soo incredibly easy it wasn't even funny.  I was soo worried about it, and I had nothing to stress over!  And my test today that I've been studying for was pretty much a breeze as well.  I still have a paper to write this weekend and a couple more tests coming up in a couple of days...but eh...I got time.  I'm hungry...sorry, this entry's gonna be cut short.  My tummy wants to be fed, LOL.

April 19th...that's when it happens!!!!

Cuz everytime we touch I get this feeling, and everytime we kiss, I swear I can fly!!!!  And trust me love, my heart will be flying.
